Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

Kai Trump will have numerous well-known backers as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates multiple courses worldwide and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she stated.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He basically told me to go out there and relax," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions this year and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's an even better individual. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in professional golf at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials commented that Kai's presence brings the sport to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.

Kai boasts a massive following and has started a personal fashion and living company.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
