Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

A jet carrying the US defense secretary was required to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative commented in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to the Belgian capital at the time.

This event does not mark the first occasion that a US military aircraft transporting a top government figure has suffered technical problems.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after experiencing a technical issue.
